Where to stay in Borjomi: the options
Borjomi offers hotels, hostels and family-run guesthouses. Most of them lie in the town and in Likani, a district at the edge of the national park. Bakuriani is a separate mountain resort about 30 km away, and the park huts are a third kind of stay, closer to a trail than to a bed in town.
Prices change with the season and the room, so check them on the day you book. This page describes areas and types of stay, not single properties. If you only come for a day, see our Borjomi day trips from Tbilisi instead of booking a night.

Borjomi town
Staying in town puts you close to the central park with its springs and the path to the sulphur pools. Guesthouses and hotels in town range from family-run houses to larger hotels. What is included differs, so ask about breakfast and parking when you book.
Town is also the practical base for day trips. Akhaltsikhe and Rabati Castle are about 50 km and 50 minutes away, Vardzia about 110 km and 2 hours. These are planning figures for the road, not guaranteed transfer times.

Likani
The district next to the park.
Likani lies at the start of several national park trails. The Likani Valley trail is 7 km and the Footprint trail runs 13 km from Likani to Kvabiskhevi. The Nikoloz Romanovi trail, 43 km over three days, starts here as well. A guesthouse in Likani saves you the morning approach from town.
Likani is a district, not a single property. Compare several listings, read the location on the map and check how far the next shop or restaurant is.
Bakuriani
Bakuriani sits at about 1,700 m on the northern slope of the Trialeti range. It is a different trip from Borjomi: it has its own ski areas, Didveli, Kokhta and Mitarbi, and summer lifts. Winter hours in the 2025/26 season were 10:00 to 17:00, with night skiing until 21:30.
Do not count on a shuttle between Bakuriani and Borjomi. The narrow-gauge railway between the two is not a regular service at present, and a restart is announced but not yet running. Check the current situation before you plan around it. Ask your host how guests get to the lifts, as distance to a lift varies from house to house. Details are in our Bakuriani guide.

A few checks before you pay.
Match the stay to the plan
Pick the area first, then the house. A ski trip needs Bakuriani, a walking week fits Likani, and a short visit fits the town. See the weather guide to match the season.
Ask about getting there
Ask your host how to reach the station, the minibus stop or the lifts. Our getting to Borjomi guide lists trains, minibuses and transfers.
Check the details
Check the cancellation terms, what breakfast includes, heating in winter and the exact address.
